Micro-Certifications
Micro-certifications are short, competency-based courses that demonstrate mastery in a particular area. This Inform USA credential represents a special recognition for experienced I&R practitioners who complete the required curriculum and carries its own digital badge. Micro-certifications are only available to holders of a core Inform USA Certification. For more information click here.
Accreditation Information
The Accreditation Program is a professional accreditation process for agencies working within the Information & Referral (I&R) sector of human services. The Inform USA Accreditation Program is the only credential geared explicitly for the I&R sector. It measures a program's compliance with expected practices within the field as defined by the Inform USA Standards and Quality Indicators for Professional Information and Referral. In 2024, after many years of serving the sector as the Virginia Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS), we have rebranded the organization as Inform VIRGINIA to better reflect our commitment to our mission and members.
